Visit to Meet The Lord Mayor of Chester, Donation to the Share Shop and St Werburgh's Shrine

The Ambassadors spent a fantastic morning learning all about the role of the Lord Mayor of Chester. We also donated our Coppers For Coffee to the Share Shop and visited St Werburgh's Shrine in the Cathedral.

Behaviour Rewards & The Prayer Garden

Mrs Oates asked our school councillors to come up with ideas for rewards and treats once the pupils have reached the Gold Award for behaviour.

The children have asked for own clothes or a games afternoon.

Behaviour & Anti Bullying Child Friendly Policies

School council worked really hard this afternoon at how we could create a child friendly policy for both behaviour and anti bullying. They came up with some amazing ideas for us to work on. Most importantly, it gives our pupils a voice and gives them an opportunity to contribute to the running of the schol.

Class Names

School council and the pupils have decided upon Inspirational Pepole asthe theme for our class names. Mr Shaw, our site manger, has been busy putting up the signs. Over the coming months, the children will be learning about each person and a display of portraits will be on the main corridors.

Eco News

Some of our school council have been looking at ways to make our school more eco friendly. Annaliese and Amelia decided to look at school drop off and pick up. They discovered that a lot of parents have been leaving their engines running. In response to this the girls put a notice in our weekly bulletin to ask that parents to consider switiching off their engines whilst waiting. Brilliant work girls!

Callum and Kieran have been looking at waste in the dinner hall. They spoke to Mr Wyna about getting a recycling bins for paper and plastic. This has been arranged and will be in place from April. Well done boys!
